In my opinion, one can never go wrong with wearing “everything black”. What I do love about an all black look is that adding the right accessories will make it appear interesting instead of boring and blah. The key is to keep an eye on details, textures and prints. Today’s outfit is all about those details. Mix leather and lace, prints and metallic. You will find yourself creating an outfit that will sparkle, but doesn’t contain that much color, which is perfect when you want to keep things classy yet refined.

It took me a while, but I’ve come to the conclusion that sometimes we need to shop our own closets instead of running to the store to buy a new outfit every time a new event or party comes rolling along. All the pieces I am wearing today I’ve already worn in recent posts which you can find here and here. It is great to mix and match your own pieces and create an outfit that looks brand new.
Don’t get me wrong I will always love to shop new items, but I tend to forget about the incredible pieces I already own. All it takes is a different bag, pair of heels or piece of statement jewelry to spice things up again. I had a feeling this outfit needed something extra and the flash tattoos on my arm did exactly just that. I grabbed these at a store just around the corner from where I live, but I’ve seen the most incredible flash tattoos being sold all over the internet. I can’t wait to rock a few more of those on my trip to Bali next week, they are my favorite accessory at the moment, so don’t be surprised to see a few more of them coming up in future posts.
