TC Style Clues Is Taking A New Route And It’s Exciting

June 19, 2020

I think most of us have to agree that up until now 2020 has been a very confusing year. Feeling unsure where this world is going has made me feel shaken up and uninspired lately. We have been dealing with disastrous effects of a global pandemic and the biggest civil rights movement in history.  First, I would like to thank all my friends on Instagram for the lovely messages on my latest post. I have been a little low key for the past months simply because I needed a break from the digital world. Your understanding and support really touched my heart. It reminded me why I kept on blogging all these years and that is basically because I have the most loyal readers I could ever wish for. So thank you again! In times where big parts of our lives have been on hold, it has been quite challenging for me to find the right route when it came to life and also this blog. Questions I asked myself were: is it right to talk about just fashion during worldwide lock downs? Should I shoot my outfit photos indoors? – I don’t like shooting indoors very much, because I feel more free shooting outside. What would you my lovely readers like to see me write? This question put me on a stop for a minute.  So where I am I heading with this blog?

Well, let’s rewind to how this blog started. I started writing about fashion in 2012. Talking about personal style, outfit choices and the latest fashion trends has been the main topic on this blog. I have absolutely loved it. Over the years I’ve been growing into a more mature version of myself. New challenges came my way. For example,  I have been dealing with peri-menopausal symptoms that haven’t been easy. Ouch! Hello, fatigue, restlessness, mood swings, and irritability.  We women don’t like this sh.t, because, it’s no joke.  No need to mope around though. My love Elleon tells me I have been dealing with it in a very graceful way. I’ve been looking into balancing my hormones with herbs, green juicing, supplements, and yoga which have helped me tremendously. Then I thought that some of you girls might benefit from my tips on how to feel and look youthful when heading towards your 40’s and 50’s. My friends compliment me I look younger than my actual age and I regularly get the question of what I do to keep a youthful appearance. I would love to share this with you all on a more deeper level. Think lifestyle, and also beauty. Topics that I would love to bring to you. In 2020, a 40+ girl is straight forward, takes good care of herself and is still eager to be adventurous and learn new things. With the fashion blogging industry becoming overly saturated, I feel the need to also talk about topics that would help women in my age category. I am aware that I have a lot of younger readers too, so therefore, I would like to inspire those younger women to look forward to entering your 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s. It is not as scary as you think, it is quite the opposite. Most women over 40 feel better than ever. I am really excited to add these new topics to my blog and hopefully, they will help you feel and look your best!

So there you have it, my friends. A new fresh route on this blog and I feel super excited and inspired to start. If you have a few topics in mind that you would like me to write about, make sure to drop a line in the comment section. I would love to hear from you. It is a great feeling that no matter what I have been going through in my personal life, that I always come back to writing on my own little space called TC Style Clues. I am looking forward to connecting with all of you again. Stay healthy and positive!
